HKG, me gustas tu!

I thought I was the only one... then I started getting emails / sms's from Singapore, Kuala Lumpor and others letting me know that we are all still mentally in Hong Kong. I wasn't alone, how incredible! What an amazing time... great weather, great company, new friends, old friends, junk boats, ruggers, Stormy Weather at LKF.... and the best part is I have no memories at all from the weekend. I will go through photos and try to piece it together bit by bit. College wasn't this much fun. Ah yes, too old to rock and roll but too young to die indeed. And passing out in the sun is a great way to get a tan. Brown people all the way!

One of the accomplishments was the creation of a new verb, to "ong bak" someone, inspired by the movie (no stunt doubles, no special effects, no none-sense... just hard core action). Basically you leap in the air and knee someone in the chest... or you elbow them in a downward motion in the head. ONG BAK! Sunday morning in my prime condition I decide to demonstrate on the Uberman... he effortlessly flung me across the room like a rag doll. Then we went for ruggers. :)

Hong Kong, in my mind I'm still with you. Thanks for your hospitality, respect!

Yup - sounds like Digs has been 'Hong Kong'ed.

Stormy Weather? Is that all you got? C'mon - what about Insomnia with the live Filipino bands, Schnorberts, Lux, Edge, Red Buddha... and let's not forget the dodgy Wan Chai bars - Dusk Til Dawn, Joe B's, Carnegies, Fenwicks, Neptunes, Klong...

I offered to show you around, but you were "too tired, so I'm going to wuss out and stay at the Hyatt". Although watching Dicaprio run through Ko Pi Pi like a wild monkeyman was not to be missed.
