Christmas time, tis once a year

I've decided to get out of town for Christmas, away from the commercial hussle and bussle and spend time in a chiller place, enjoying company of some friends. So, tonight I head up to Qingdao, to meet up with Paulie. We will be joined by Simon and Michelle, among others, and I predict more PJ trolling and more sandwiches.



Qingdao is supposed to be the "Switzerland of China" where young party officials would go to dream about retiring. With a strong German influence, charming neighborhoods and the famous Tsingtao brewery, it should do the trick for Christmas.

Having said that, Merry Christmas to the nomadlife tribe, and to everyone who is a regular part of the 'shadow community.' If you don't celebrate Christmas, well that's cool too. My warmest wishes to whoever you are, wherever you may be.
